Campbell Celebrates goes BACK TO THE 80s

Thanks to our sponsors, hosts, donors and auction bidders, Campbell Celebrates raised more than $256,000 to support outreach and engagement!
Proceeds benefit hundreds of children and families who receive care at our Center of Excellence for Cerebral Palsy Care and Research, send residents to developing countries to complete orthopaedic mission trips and facilitate student learning experiences including Orthopaedic Exploration Day.
The September 25 event was, first and foremost, a way to kick-off the Campbell Clinic Foundation’s 80th anniversary.
But our guests and friends really showed up for “BACK TO THE 80s!” Amid the sea of neon colors, warm up suits, shoulder pads and leg warmers were Madonna, Joan Jett, Freddie Mercury, Hulk Hogan and a dozen or more guests fit for the set of Miami Vice or Top Gun. A Moveable Feast served an amazing array of food, served on cafeteria trays, while Southern Glazers, Wiseacre and Buster’s provided ample refreshment.
Live music by Memphis favorite Thumpdaddy was totally tubular, with hits ranging the entire decade—including a “9 to 5” Dolly Parton tribute at 9:25pm!

- Facilitates medical mission trips for UTHS- Campbell Clinic residents to provide medical care and training to impoverished communities in developing countries
- Facilitates outreach programs, including Orthopaedic Exploration Day, Healing Soles Clinics and resources to teach the next generation of orthopaedic professionals.
