CCF Launches Online Pickleball Injury Survey

As West Tennessee’s largest orthopedic practice, Campbell Clinic has treated many pickleball injuries. So many, in fact, that it has prompted the Campbell Clinic Foundation, a longtime leader in orthopedic research, to embark on both a survey for local pickleball players and a scientific study for the larger orthopedic medical community.

Pickleball is a sport that’s gained massive popularity and can offer great health benefits. Whether you are healthy and pain free or have been injured playing pickleball, consider completing the brief, online Pickleball Injury Survey. This is a custom survey produced by the Campbell Clinic Foundation to study the prevalence of orthopedic and non-orthopedic injuries in pickleball and should take about five minutes to complete.

Although pickleball is the fastest growing sport in the US, there are very few studies being published to accurately capture this information. Campbell Clinic wants to be at the forefront of the research, by using our custom survey to capture rate of injury or lack thereof. By completing this survey, pickleball players are helping out the sport you love by giving us the knowledge to know what to look for – as opposed to simply speculating based on other similar sports.
