Beginning 2026, Campbell Clinic Foundation and Campbell Clinic Orthopaedics will host a new orthopaedic training opportunity for Advance Practice Providers (APPs)!
The APP Fellowship will prepare APPs for independent practice in orthopaedic surgery through immersive clinical and surgical training and mentorship.
Program Overview
The APP Orthopaedic Fellowship Program is designed for physician assistants and nurse practitioners seeking specialized postgraduate training in orthopaedic surgery. Over the course of 12 months, fellows engage in structured clinical and operative rotations across multiple subspecialties. The program’s mission is to provide advanced, hands-on experience that fosters competence and confidence in managing complex orthopaedic conditions, while cultivating professional growth and leadership.
Fellows work closely with expert faculty in inpatient units, outpatient clinics, and operating rooms to develop clinical acumen, surgical skills, and a collaborative practice. Emphasis is placed on comprehensive patient care, evidence-based decision-making, and multidisciplinary teamwork.
By the end of the program, fellows are prepared to transition into independent practice as valued members of orthopaedic teams, equipped with the knowledge and skills to deliver high-quality orthopaedic care and contribute to the future of the profession.
