Dr. Willis C. Campbell was a pioneer in caring for people with bone and joint diseases. He founded hospitals for people with mobility issues, helped create the medical subspecialty of orthopaedics, and wrote the book (Campbell’s Operative Orthopaedics) on orthopaedic surgery.
